I founded Dragonfly Care Farm to expand on the tremendous growth and success from my previous role as co-founder of Fiddlehead Care Farm, which launched in 2015 in Mono, Ontario.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, a post-graduate diploma in Therapeutic Recreation and I’m certified as a child life specialist through the Association of Child Life Professionals.

I have many years of experience using the power of play, the transformative powers of literature, and nature-based interventions. I recognize the incredible bond with animals and nature between children and families to help cope with “big emotions” and navigate life’s challenges and stressors.

My empathy, warmth and play-based approach help create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can learn, grow, and achieve shared goals while having fun!

My particular areas of interest and experience include coping with transitions and change, anxiety and worries, exploring the brain/body connection, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and teaching social and life skills.
